Tyler Timm, Youth Minister
Hello everyone!
My name is Tyler Timm, and I am the youth minister at our parishes! I was born and raised in a small town in rural southwest Minnesota. (which is pretty similar to this area!) I attended school at SIU-Carbondale and graduated in May with a degree in Zoology with a wildlife biology specialization. I'm not quite using that degree in this job... (although some would say working with kids is like working with wildlife!) However, it was in my time in college at Carbondale that I made the decision to convert to Catholicism and became interested in pursuing a job in ministry! I was brought into the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil in 2022 and have been the youth minister here since July of 2023.
I am so blessed to have been welcomed into this community and to work in such a great youth program with such awesome youth and families!
